Our History

Our journey began in 1980 when Harv and Annie Nyhof founded Holland Equipment Hunters, Inc. to pioneer business opportunities in the used machinery market. Now, four generations later, the Nyhof family is providing quality equipment through multiple businesses.

Carrying on the family legacy, Matt and Estella Nyhof founded Holland Equipment Recovery Sales in 2012 as an independent but related business focused on buying and selling surplus industrial equipment to new online markets.

What began as a small operation with just a dozen items in inventory has rapidly expanded, now offering over 6,000 different products in our ever-growing warehouse.

Today, Matt, Estella and their son Brenden continue to operate Holland Equipment Recovery Sales, staying true to the family and faith-based values passed down through generations.
