Our History

Our story begins in 1980 when Harv and Annie Nyhof founded Holland Equipment Hunters, Inc. to pioneer business opportunities in the used machinery and equipment market. Now spanning four generations, the family-owned and operated business has served customers worldwide for nearly 40 years.

Continuing in the family tradition, Matt and Estella Nyhof founded Holland Equipment Recovery Sales in 2012 as a related but independent company focused on buying and selling surplus industrial equipment to new markets on the web.

What started as a small operation with only a dozen items in inventory has grown at a rapid pace, now stocking over 4000 products occupying nearly 30,000 square feet of warehouse space.

Today, Matt and Estella Nyhof, along with their son Brenden, continue to operate Holland Equipment Recovery Sales according to the family and faith-based values modeled in previous generations.
